Looks like it is time to use up a lot of the crafting materials before the recipes get changed. A lot of recipes are reducing the amount of items created. For example glues will now make one instead of twelve.

That is a huge list. But, yeah, brb CRAFTING ALL DAY.

Also, "snurble tufts" makes me giggle.

Smithing noticeable changes:

EVERYTHING. Smithing before REVOLVED around nuggets. Your primary stuff was nuggets. If anything, its going to become more difficult to skillup, because everything now revolves around ingots. No more nuggets, no more parts. Everything is completed or a basic material. No intermediate parts. All my skillup synths are gone now >_>

Its cool that they're allowing for multiple ingots with a slight discount on the material cost. But regardless....overall the materials you're going to need are going to go way up. No more easy "3 nuggets per part" synth to skillup on =/ Gonna need to be making completed items, or basic materials from ores.

I do like that there seems to be a larger increase in the use of Steel, as well as us being allowed to utulize mythril, and now Cobalt, add in some variety from the iron. But still....unless they increase the amount of skill points gained per synth, smithing just became infinitely harder >_>

Thats my initial opinion on this at first look.

Thinking a bit further, yea, getting rid of parts is kinda nifty, less need to rely so heavily on other crafts. But it also hurts, as alot of the primary crafting skillups were done through parts. So...good and the bad here.

Edit: Looking further down, it looks like ore prices are getting cut into 1/4 or 1/3 of the normal vendor price. Cool, thats good. ingot looks to be cut in 1/2. Actually, it looks like all vendor prices in general are going to be decreased. Also adding dark matter to all 3 cities it seems. Good, thats been needed since the items were introduced.

Oh well. guess I need to login and use up my large stash of nuggets. Either to skill on, or turn into ingots for the coming ingot storm.

Im also reading a lot of mixed opinions on the forums regarding this stuff. Lots of angry people, and some who are happy.

The thing is, the old recipes won't be removed, yet, so turn your stuff into nuggets now. I'm off to raid the wards for logs and stuff.

Im at work until 11 unfortunately. You sure they arent removing these immediatly? I thought thats what this was? Either way. I'll probably vendor any parts Ive got, or make them into items. And skillup on my nuggets as far as I can. Dont know that I want to burn that many crystals on making ingots.
