Abita Ale Turbodog.

Enjoying this while out eating bbq - it's really quite tasty. It's a brown ale, and it does the light toffee/chocolate/whatever that is very well. Very pleased I tried it.

Tried a few new beers the other night.

Old Engine Oil
Cigar City Maduro
Unibroue Chambly Noire
Stone Double Bastard
Harpoon Leviathan

Unfortunately, the one with the coolest name was the one I actively disliked.

Yeah, it's a buddy of Arrogant Bastard. Ask ol' Niners about Arrogant Bastard!
That was a good night.

As for the Turbodog he mentioned, that stuff is epic. Just epic.

Necro bump of doom! But, I was having a Guinness tonight and it reminded me of this thread, so here I am!

Not just any Guinness mind you, but I sprung for the the amazingly fantastic Guinness Foreign Extra Stout. Beer so good it makes me happy to be alive.

We bought a bread machine last weekend, and I made some beer bread with Red Chair IPA. An IPA might be a little too much for bread, but I think it's pretty tasty.

That sounds pretty freaking tasty Koiji! A pilsner might be good if you wanted to lighten the intensity a bit, but I can help think making it with a porter would be damn good.
