It appears I was wrong about dated recipes. That one thing I made must have been lower level than I believed it to be. Im still getting 500 or so XP for dated leves at rank 45.

So false alarm

Phew! My 1200 woodworking synths worth of material, thank you. By the way, the Kobold Stronghold last night. Great exp, loads of mobs, found a coffer (no key) and we wiped. But was fun place to visit, need to get a job into the 40s and try exping there.

Yea. I tried making a few armorer pieces for my MRD. Armorer is too low though. I lost roughly 10 steel ingots worth of material trying to make a steel helmet, and steel chainmail. Was rather frustrating.

Also, quite a lot of my crafters gear is already 75% soulbound. You don't get soulbond if the item is at 0% condition (My rings are all 0% and next to no soulbond). Probably gonna try to make a materia tonight, maybe from my hammer, and make a replacement hammer for it. Wasnt too expensive to make =o

Hit 42 smithing. Picked up all the 40+ BSM leves from Limsa, and did those. Almost every one of them were old recipes, that still required support and sub crafts. Failed 3-4 of them. But the others, I got about 30+ Cobalt/Mythril ore from. The ore rewards, very nice now. Didn't try making any cobalt weaponry yet. Might try, and see if I can sell any of them for decent prices. Just need to see if I can find the other materials cheapish.

Im concerned about doing any harder combat with my MRD, until I can get a functional set of armor made for it. The amount of defense I lose from being lower than optimal level, is rather disconcerting.

I also need a set of gathering gear. Can you make those? If so, what do you need, and I'll gather it all up for ya and see if you can make me a set tonight.

Edit: browsing the public forums, seeing what people have found. It appears that HQ items are fairly "not worth it" anymore. Old dated +3 items have apparently like +5 to a single stat, or like +5 to defense. People are rather upset about this.

Hey, if either of you happen across All Purpose Red Dye while quarrying, could you save it for me? I would like to make my new clothes pretty without spending $100k for each pot of dye. Boo! I'll pay something more decent, or trade purple, brown or black.

From what I understand....dyeing armor now actually changes the stats on it and adds different class restrictions =/

Seems kinda bogus to me.

Mayeh: Checked the Mythril Plumed Pickaxe vs your Dodotail pickaxe. Its the same rank, but Mythril has about +4 to every stat. Its 60 across the board. I've got it if'n you be want'n it.

Mayeh, I meant to ask you this yesterday but I forgot: Have you done the level 25 dungeon? If two people are level 35, would it be duo-able?

I want seals! Those new coats are cute and company leves net you all of 40 seals after 15 minute long missions. Slow, slow, slow.

Also, the Sounders lost. At least we can cheer for the Seahawks! Evil or Very Mad

One level 50 can. I would try it with 2 35s.
