I was thinking about starting up an Abyssea group exclusive for doing NMs in Abyssea, not only the NMs in the new Abyssea zones, but also for the past Abyssean zones. This would be a seperate group possibly, depending on interests, and would be a wishlist based system, for items from the NMs as well as upgrade Seals/Jewels for the Empyrean Armors. I was thinking possibly 3 days/nights a week, depending on interests and would cover every zone in a cycle. Cycle would likely be a Scars zone -> Visions zone -> rinse & repeat in all likelyhood, to keep interest in all the NM drops from Abyssea. If you have an interest or would like to make a comment or two, please feel free to post on here. There is no shell name yet, but it is in the works if anyone would be interested, Thanks!

This is pertinent to my interests.

I'd be interested in doing this, however I would prefer two days a week. I will be splitting my time between FFXI and FFXIV so I don't want to fill up my days.

My opinion, if it makes any difference, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday work. I have Assaults on Monday that I like to do, and since Slaveage gear is obsolete we could replace the Sunday and Wednesday runs.

hmmm i'm with mayeh on this, though i've not looked too heavily at the new gear avialible there seems to be many potent items availible in abyssea that im very interested in. (days that work for me that is) generally on week days i dont get home till 1600 east, though thats not a dead set time as work can keep me later.

I'd really like to get involved in Abyssea related stuff, and I've heard really good things about the AF3. (Even though I don't even have AF2 for my Rdm >.>)

I'm buying the Abyssea expansions today and I'm not really clear on how the whole thing works, is there a good thread somewhere that is kind of like Abyssea for Dummies sort of thing?

So it looks like the upgrade path for AF3 is:

Buy Base Item for 20K Cruor
+1 is Collect 8 Seals of upgrading the item
+2 is Collect 6 Jewels/Coins/etc of the required type
The upgrades are done at the new Magian Moogle in Ru'Lude Gardens.

I'd be interested in this as a replacement for Salvage. I can only come one day a week, however, due to my teaching schedule.

Yeah basically. They are called Resistance Credits and are very much like Allied Notes in Campaign.

You earn them from every mob you help defeat in Bastion which is very well worth doing as the exp you can gain from it in one round is amazing and it only lasts a few minutes.

Last Bastion I did I got around 9k limit points and 900 credits

I do agree abyssea for the empyrean gear should replace salvage. The pieces that I did manage to complete over the year I did salvage are now all obsolete thanks to this update.

I'd be willing to do this, but I'd only be able to make 2 times a week.

I am up for doing this, but I know I wouldn't be able to make three nights per week. Nights I would prefer would be Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and/or Saturday. Nights I cannot do it are Sunday and Monday.
